This evening workshop will teach you everything you need to know about Microsoft PowerApps and related technologies and products. Work in a team to create an innovative business case using Microsoft PowerApps and a creative presentation. You and your team will receive support from experts. The best presentations will be rewarded with high-quality prizes.

16:00 Greeting

All participants are warmly welcomed by me, the organizer of the event. We discuss the framework program and a few basic things, such as the formation of teams for the later project phase. Then we can get started.

16:30 Introduction to Microsoft PowerApps

Get an introduction to Microsoft PowerApps - an exciting, future-oriented and highly integrated product from Microsoft. We will also tell you about some innovative business cases and show you how you can create your own apps without any programming knowledge.

17:15 Galactic business cases

Artificial intelligence is on the rise - be it in smartphones, cameras, traffic control or in the fight against crime. Microsoft PowerApps can also be combined with exciting artificial intelligence and big data scenarios with Microsoft Power BI and Cognitive Services.

18:00 Experimental phase

It's your time to get your own impression of Microsoft PowerApps and related technologies and products. Set up your work environment, experiment and come up with some cool application scenarios for your team.

18:45 Pizza break

Dinner at last! To keep your stomach rumbling in check and get your energy levels back on track, plenty of pizza is provided. Free drinks are also included. There will also be the opportunity to exchange ideas with the other speakers and participants and top up your vitamin B. Most importantly, however, you should use the time to prepare your team for the creative phase that follows!

19:30 Creative phase

The most important phase of the evening begins: create a business case, a corresponding app and a presentation for the project presentation with your team. You will receive support from Lennart and Marek - two experts in the field of Microsoft PowerApps.

22:00 Project presentation

All teams meet and present their projects to the jury and the other teams. Each team has about 5-7 minutes for the presentation. The development of your projects must be completed by this time.

22:45 Raffle and award ceremony

As a grand finale, the best projects will be rewarded with prizes. There will also be a prize draw among all participants.
