20:00 Pizza break

Dinner at last! To keep your stomach rumbling in check and get your energy levels back on track, we provide plenty of pizza. Free drinks such as Red Bull are also included. You will also have the opportunity to talk to other speakers and participants and find out about study opportunities at the FHDW.

20:30 Xamarin: Inhuman Connections

A practical look at the connection and integration of Xamarin apps. In a private project, I asked myself the question: "Can Xamarin actually also...?". I simply started programming and set the requirement to connect to something simply foreign, the video game "Counterstrike: Global Offensive". The requirement program eventually became a case study.

21:30 Apps with feelings?

The question that almost everyone is philosophizing about: Is artificial intelligence possible? The question probably remains unanswered, but we are getting very close with Microsoft's Cognitive Services. I'll show you what the future of apps could look like with the help of Microsoft technologies and Swift.

[su_spoiler title="When should I arrive?"]

The first lecture of the FHDW Technology Night 2017 is scheduled to start at 17:30. To ensure that the agenda can be adhered to without time problems, we recommend arriving at the venue at 5:15 pm. From the S-Bahn stops "Duckterath" and "Bergisch Gladbach" it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot. Experience has shown that the roads are congested on Friday afternoons, so you should allow enough time if you arrive by car; half an hour extra is realistic.

No. Pens and pads for taking notes will be provided. If you have any questions about one of your IT projects or would like to follow sessions on your notebook, you are welcome to take it with you.

Unfortunately, the event is not barrier-free. Please contact me if you need an accessible venue and we will try to find a solution together.
