Lazurec C2: When high-tech replaces the mop

As part of my visits to the Middle Kingdom - China - I recently visited Kingxchip and shared with you Impressions of the JoyBee K2 robotic lawnmower. As someone interested in the highly exciting robotics industry, I came into contact with Rancho - who has since become a good friend. Rancho is co-founder of myRobotKits and Lazurec. His companies also sell innovative robotics products, so I decided to meet him at the headquarters in Shenzhen, China.

When I arrived at the office and factory building, I felt like I was in a Science fiction Movie: A white, autonomous cleaning robot quietly made its way across the empty marble floor. Rancho stood next to it, his face beaming with pride. He beckoned me over, laughing.

When I first saw the C2, I was impressed because the appliance looks very futuristic: It's about waist-high, with a round base and a sleek design reminiscent of a cross between a modern floor cleaning machine and a large household robot. There is a small touch display at the top, a black sensor strip at the front and robust handles at the sides. You notice immediately: this is not a toy, but a Sophisticated cleaning professional.

Even before my meeting, I checked out the website of Lazurec about the C2 cleaning robot. Of course, I immediately wanted to know from Rancho what functions the C2 has.
